On February 18, 2025, the Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Montreal, Eugene Czolij, chaired a meeting of the Advisory Board of the Honorary Consulate of Ukraine in Montreal, where he presented the work report for the 2024 year, which was related to Russia’s genocidal war against Ukraine. During the meeting, an action plan to promote Ukraine's victory and help temporarily displaced Ukrainians in Quebec was also discussed.
