On 13 December 2022, the Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Montreal Eugene Czolij attended a reception on the occasion of the 15th Conference of the Parties (COP15) to the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity in Montreal and thanked the Mayor of Montreal Valérie Plante for the city’s support of the temporarily displaced Ukrainians in Montreal.
